Meet Our Founder – Mrs. D. Sharmila

Prakara Preschool was founded by Mrs. D. Sharmila, a passionate educator with a strong academic foundation and a heartfelt commitment to early childhood development. She holds a B.Tech in Civil Engineering, an M.Tech in Environmental Engineering, and a PG Diploma in Montessori Teacher Training.

With this unique blend of structure, creativity, and child-centered philosophy, she has created a nurturing space where children can learn through play, develop essential life skills, and grow with values like empathy, integrity, and respect at their core.

At Prakara, Sharmila brings her vision to life through thoughtfully designed learning environments, Montessori-inspired tools, and joyful daily routines. She also introduces basic environmental concepts in age-appropriate ways—nurturing a love for nature, sustainability, and conscious living from a young age.

In addition to her work in education, Sharmila is also the creative force behind @charismatic_aura – an art and journaling page with over 100K followers. With 8+ years of experience in mandala art, zentangle, and mindful creativity, she weaves artistic expression into early learning, helping children build focus, calmness, and imagination.
